For this shoot, I was asked to create some black and white portraits to complement a set of older portraits the family had hanging in their home. Each image is 20 inches wide and are made for a larger matted frame. I can't tell you what a thrill it is to create something I know will be treasured for years to come. We did the shoot in the client's home and I had a great time coaxing smiles out of the little ones and their big sister.
When is the last time you had a portrait made of your kids?

Fun in the Studio | Teen Modeling Shoot
Sometimes I have the chance to have some "play time" on my own with a model in the Roswell studio. Here's a few from a shoot with a client's daughter who agreed to model for me. I love how we captured so much of her personality in just these three frames.

Mother and Daughter | Marietta GA Family Photographer
I loved working with this mother and daughter pair. The daughter was so fun to work with--eagerly modeling for me as I coached her. I love working with older kids because they are fun to direct, and they really appreciate seeing the results on the back of the camera. These pictures are going to be a real treasure for their family, and (as mom admitted to me) long overdue! Enjoy the sneak peek.
