One of my most poignant memories from my former life as a junior high school teacher was during a faculty inservice. The keynote speaker had finished and members of the local high school band came in to play a piece for us. During the piece, I was incredibly moved by the fact that I had been a part of these young people's lives, that their soon-to-be-adulthood would take a part of my influence. I can only imagine that this incredible sense of honor and pride is similar to what parents feel about their graduating seniors.
Here's one of my senior portrait sessions from this year, beautiful Tiffany. Congratulations!
