Peek-a-boo
Here's another one of our favorites from the Park Photo Shoot this December. Lately, we've been scouting out locations for photography. Webb Bridge Park, where this was taken, is a great spot with all of the playground equipment to use for framing. We will be visiting other parks in the next few weeks and hopefully will compile a good portfolio of possible locations for our clients.

Impromptu Portrait
Marchet writes:
My friend and I often go walking on the Greenway with our kids. Along the way, we meet some of the nicest people. This gentleman was a great impromptu subject. We both took pictures of him and his dog. This is one of mine that turned out the best. (Obviously, this picture is from earlier last year before it got so cold. I just ran into this gentleman again while walking and got his permission to share this photo on our blog.)
By the way, my friend is an artist with an online gallery of her work at http://theslink.deviantart.com/gallery/. She does most of her work in pencil, and then scans it in and adds color with Photoshop. Me? I prefer mostly in-camera work. I don't mind a little cropping or adding a bit of fill light, but I find that my best photos need no "tweaking."
